A romanticised tale of leaving a friend.
A romanticised tale of leaving a friend. To the right of the painting, the small figure in grey is a memory, and represents the past, the abandoned and the lost. The sadness of the foreground is brighter, and the tearful mood made stronger by the sound of a waterfall. The horse alludes to the name of the 'friend'.
Framed size: 94 x 94 cm / 37 x 37 in
