"Secret of the Forest" was inspired by a lovely wood near my studio in the Peak District where sunlight filters through the trees creating shadows over the forest floor. Summer is such beautiful time of year and the woods are full of fresh new leaves and forest flowers. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas, which is ready to hang, but it can also be framed if preferred.
