This painting was inspired by some lovely trees near my home in the Peak District. Sunlight plays through beautiful leaves creating dappled shadows and light, while the delicate textures contrast with the bright tones. Hues of pink, magenta, green and apricot bring to life a tranquil forest full of colour and vibrancy, celebrating a beautiful time of year and a natural peaceful place.
