A beautiful painting in acrylic on board demonstrating the artists' impressive illustrative talents. "Howay The Lads" is a homage to Newcastle United and features fans in the stands in Newcastle's colours. Front and centre is a footballer striking the ball, which David has captured in motion in his unique style. The painting is double mounted and framed under glass and looks even better in real life. This piece was painted in 2023 and David created a similarly themed work some 17 years prior, featuring Manchester United, titled "Glory II".
