We are delighted to announce that a selection of original works by contemporary artist Caroline Slater are now available through the gallery.
Working in oils, acrylic and mixed media, Slater creates expressive paintings that span avant-garde portraiture, figurative work and abstraction. Her distinctive style combines layered textures, flowing lines and atmospheric colour, often allowing faces and figures to emerge from gestural marks and abstract forms.
Born in Cardiff and trained in Fine Art at Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham, Slater has exhibited in the UK and internationally, with her work held in private collections including commissioned paintings in Los Angeles. Now based in Somerset, she continues to explore themes of identity, movement and the natural world in her practice.
