Renowned Abstract Artist Rachael Addis Joins Oil Art Advisory Gallery
We're delighted to announce that esteemed abstract artist Rachael Addis has joined our gallery and a selection of her original paintings is now available for viewing and purchase both online and at our Knutsford location.
Rachael Addis, a contemporary painter based at Rogue Artists' Studios in Manchester, is celebrated for her mesmerizing and detailed abstract landscapes. Her work involves the application of multiple layers of paint and intricate patterns, resulting in pieces that are both contemplative and meditative. Notably, Rachael was commissioned to create an 8-meter mural for the entrance of Manchester's new music venue, Co-Op Live.
Originally from the Lake District, Rachael spent her formative years in Hong Kong and Thailand, experiences that have profoundly influenced the colors and aesthetics of her work. She holds a BA in Fine Art from Manchester Metropolitan University and completed her MA at The Royal Academy of Arts Schools in London. Her paintings are characterised by an impulsive method of repetitious mark-making that is both gestural and meditative, often described as 'visual sound' due to their rhythmic nature.
Visitors to Oil Art Advisory can explore a curated selection of Rachael's original paintings, ranging from intimate small canvases to expansive large works. Each piece reflects her unique process and artistic vision, offering collectors and art enthusiasts an opportunity to acquire works that are both visually captivating and emotionally resonant.
We invite you to visit our Knutsford gallery or explore our online collection to experience the depth and beauty of Rachael Addis' art.
