A Modern Take on an Age-Old Passion: An exhibition of Knutsford's very own artist, David Boardman

We'll be hosting a week long exhibition of Knutsford's very own, multi-talented artist, DAVID BOARDMAN and we'll have every available, original painting on display in the gallery.

 

With a background in commercial illustration, David set out with the intention of representing the beauty of movement on canvas, and the style of his paintings is highly unique. Although technically difficult to create, his body of work is fresh and exciting, and each painting makes a huge visual impact due to its detailing, colouration and the complex shading that helps to define its 'motion'.

 

Highlights include The Big Fight (Ringside Seat), a 2 meter tall homage to the 1974 boxing match between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali, his latest painting to feature a golfer, titled The Most Important Shot..., and don't miss his series featuring Spanish dancers, nor his two paintings of footballers.
