EMMA BELL

Abstract, Impressionist, Floral | Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Emma Bell is a British-born contemporary artist whose work captures the ephemeral beauty of nature through a vibrant and expressive visual language. Inspired by florals and coastal landscapes, her paintings blend abstraction and form, balancing spontaneity with structure. Employing layered applications of acrylic, oil pastel, charcoal, and graphite, she creates richly textured compositions that convey both movement and delicacy. Emma's distinctive use of colour and gestural mark-making evoke a sense of harmony and vitality, inviting the viewer to engage with the transient elegance of the natural world.

Emerging from a family with strong artistic heritage, Emma was first influenced by her great-grandmother, a landscape painter, and her grandfather, whose creative encouragement nurtured her early interest in art. Following a decade-long career in marketing, she relocated from the United Kingdom to Atlanta, Georgia in 2009, where she established her practice as a full-time artist. Today, Emma's work is recognised for its ability to transform interiors with its uplifting and contemplative qualities, reflecting her enduring commitment to creating art that inspires serenity, joy, and connection.
