Contemporary Abstract Artist | Heikand, Netherlands

 

Eelco Maan, born in 1962 in Schiedam, the Netherlands, is a Dutch visual artist known for his unique approach to abstraction. Since becoming a professional painter in 1994, he has developed a signature style marked by rich color palettes, layered textures, and a contemplative, almost mystical quality that invites deep reflection.

 

Based in Heikant, a village in the Netherlands, his surroundings, characterized by expansive skies and serene landscapes, have significantly influenced the atmospheric qualities of his work

 

Since 1995, Maan's work has been exhibited in galleries and art fairs across the Netherlands, the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Japan. He has participated in both solo and group exhibitions, and his paintings are held in private collections worldwide.
